These fresh mochi are made with domestic warabiko (bracken starch) for a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Enjoy them chilled for a refreshing, slippery bite, or at room temperature for a rich, melty experience—these fresh confections change their character with temperature.

You can choose 3 fresh mochi from three types, made with carefully selected ingredients: Wasanbon sugar from Kagawa and Tokushima, Uji matcha from Kyoto, and brown sugar from Okinawa. You can choose any combination of 3 (multiple of the same flavor is also possible). Packaged in a decorative box, they are perfect for souvenirs or seasonal greetings. You can choose from various noshi (gift wrapping), message cards, and wrapping paper.

Flavor selections are accepted via the product options (select one for Flavor 1 / Flavor 2 / Flavor 3). Toppings corresponding to the selected flavors will be included (Wasanbon = roasted kinako + kuromitsu, Niso Matcha = matcha kinako, Okinawa Brown Sugar = roasted kinako).

How to Enjoy (Frozen Delivery)

Delivered frozen. Thaw only the amount you wish to consume (in the refrigerator for half a day or more, or in a bag under running water. Do not use hot water). Thawing time may vary depending on the environment. After thawing, consume within 5 days including the thawing day, and on the same day after opening. The aroma of kinako, kuromitsu, and matcha kinako will be enhanced if added just before serving. Delicious chilled or returned to room temperature.

How to Enjoy (Chilled Delivery)

Delivered thawed. Upon arrival, store refrigerated below 10℃ and consume by the use-by date (5 days including the shipping date; stated on the product or accompanying documents). If you do not plan to consume immediately or anticipate a long absence, we recommend ordering via frozen delivery. We recommend specifying the delivery date and time. Chilled delivery is not available for Hokkaido, Okinawa, and some remote islands.

About Delivery

You can choose between frozen delivery and chilled delivery (room temperature delivery is not handled). Products with different temperature zones cannot be combined in one shipment. Frozen delivery is recommended. The best-before date for frozen products is 3 months or more (stated on the product label). Fresh mochi are shipped collectively every Friday (orders confirmed by noon on Wednesday of each week are shipped on Friday of that week. Chilled delivery products are thawed before shipment).

About Returns/Exchanges

As these are food products (perishables), returns, exchanges, and cancellations after order confirmation are not accepted due to customer convenience (cooling-off period does not apply to mail order). In the event of damage, defect, or incorrect delivery of the product, please contact the inquiry desk (support@ginza-kasho-hikaru.jp / 050-6866-2266) within 2 days of product arrival. We will respond with an exchange for a good product or a refund. This product has a use-by date. We cannot compensate for quality deterioration due to long absences or delayed receipt.

Please select the type of ceremonial heading, whether the noshi is inside or outside the wrapping paper, and the pattern of the wrapping paper from the options. If you use noshi or wrapping paper, it may not be possible to combine it with other products.
